The Port of Coos Bay is seeking to award two $500 scholarships to local graduating seniors, living within or attending school in the Port district, who is pursuing educational advancement at an Oregon trade school, community college, or university. At the Port, we are dedicated to supporting the growth and development of Oregon’s South Coast regional economy by encouraging the workforce of tomorrow. All eligible students are encouraged to apply, though special consideration may be given and possible exceptions to the Oregon school requirement will be considered, for students seeking educational advancement in trades or skills related to the maritime, rail, or trade and logistics industries.
Application Deadline: April 1, 2023 Scholarship award recipients will be notified of their selection in May with an Award Presentation at the June Commission Meeting.
