EDUCATION: Graduated from Sierra College with an Associates Degree in Liberal Studies.

ORGANIZATIONS INVOLVED IN: Eugene Parks Stewardship Program, McKenzie River Trust, Santa Clara Community Organization Board Member, Active blood donor. 

HOBBIES: The Arts, hiking, fishing, traveling, gardening, cooking, volunteering and enjoying life with his wife, children, family and friends.

WORK HISTORY: Patrick’s railroad career started with the Southern Pacific Railroad in 1992 in the Signal department in West Oakland, CA then he transferred into the Operations department as a trainman and locomotive engineer out of Denver, CO. He was promoted into management for the Union Pacific Railroad in Roseville, CA as the Manager of Industry and Public Projects. At RailAmerica and Genesee & Wyoming short lines, Patrick has worked in Government Affairs, Operations, Engineering and Marketing for various roads covering the Rocky Mountain, Great Plain, Southwest and Western States building relationships and advocating the home town advantage.  

FAMILY: Patrick is happily married to his wife Darcy. He is the proud parent of two teenage young men Wyatt and Logan and is grateful for his two adult stepchildren Jeff and Jenny.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Patrick is a strong advocate for transportation and economic development, especially in the rural communities the Port’s Coos Bay Rail line serves and is excited to see how working together can generate a brighter future for the South Oregon Coast.
