Marine Facilities Manager
Kathy D. Wall

Kathy Wall joined the Oregon International Port of Coos Bay in June
2006 and serves as the Charleston Marine Facilities
Manager/Harbormaster. Before moving to Oregon she held several
staff positions in the legal field and also worked in the financial
and construction industries in the southwestern United States. Kathy
earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, cum
laude, in Management Information Systems from the University of
New Mexico’s Anderson School of Management.
Kathy’s duties at the Port include oversight of the Charleston
Marina & Launch Ramp, the Charleston Marina RV Park and the
Charleston Shipyard. She previously served as the Government &
Environmental Affairs Manager. Her responsibilities have included
economic development and marketing of industrial and marine
industrial properties, along with project management in dredging and
waterway permitting issues.
She serves as the Port’s representative regarding ocean policy
issues including marine reserves and wave energy. Kathy also works
closely with Port management on infrastructure projects, marketing,
dredging issues and waterway permitting.
She
holds a board of director position on the Southern Oregon Ocean Resource Coalition (SOORC)
and is a member of the Pacific Coast Congress of Harbormasters and
Port Managers.
Kathy serves on several subcommittees of the Bay Area Chamber of
Commerce, as well as an alternate to Martin Callery on the Southwest
Area Commission on Transportation. She also is active in the local
community.
Kathy’s husband Mark is the Forestry Manager for Roseburg Forest Products and their daughters Sarah and
Kaitlin attend school in the North Bend School District.
