Elise Hamner

Elise Hamner joined the Oregon International Port of Coos Bay in April 2010 and serves as the Communications & Community Affairs Manager.

Prior to joining the port, she worked for more than 20 years as a journalist, the last 15 years as a newspaper reporter and editor in Coos Bay. During that tenure, she covered business and ports, along with government and environment issues. She earned a bachelor’s degree in technical journalism, with a minor in business, at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Ore.
