Current Career Position:
CEO of Coquille Economic Development Corporation (CEDCO).
Education Background/Highlights:
Graduated from North Bend High School. Attended the University of
Oregon and finished college at Western Oregon University, graduating
with a B.S./Business.
Work History/Highlights:
Brady worked as a staff accountant for Evergreen Airlines; and then
in technology and business for the FEI Company. He began working
for the Coquille Indian Tribe Gaming Commission as Vice Chair and
Internal Auditor before working for CEDCO.
Civic & Professional Activities:
Brady has served on several boards, including Pacific Center for
Children; Shorebank Enterprise Pacific; South Coast Development
Council; Friends of New and Sustainable Industry; and the American
Leadership Forum. He currently serves as the Port’s Treasurer and
represents the Port on the Oregon Coastal Zone Management
Association.
Family Information:
He and wife Deana live in North Bend with their three children Ryan,
Taylor and Chase.
Special Interests:
College football, boating and wine tasting.
Comments:
Brady grew up in North Bend during the boom of the fishing and
timber industries. His family members made their living working in
mills, long shoring, fishing and logging. His family has been here
for many generations and he wants his children and future
generations to have the opportunity and choice to live here as
well. He feels that the Port of Coos Bay will play a large role in
generating new business and important investments in Coos County.
